Thai Beef Salad, also known as "Yam Nua," is a vibrant and flavorful dish that's perfect for any occasion. Here’s a recipe to make a delicious Thai Beef Salad:

Thai Beef Salad Recipe
Ingredients:
1 pound (450g) beef sirloin or flank steak

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Salt and pepper to taste

Salad:
4 cups mixed salad greens

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1 cucumber, thinly sliced

1/2 red onion, thinly sliced

1/4 cup fresh mint leaves

1/4 cup fresh cilantro leaves

1/4 cup fresh basil leaves

Dressing:
2 tablespoons fish sauce

2 tablespoons lime juice

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon brown sugar

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

1-2 red chilies, finely chopped (adjust to taste)

1 clove garlic, minced

1 teaspoon grated ginger (optional)

Instructions:
Prepare the Beef: Season the beef with salt and pepper. Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the beef for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until it reaches your desired level of doneness. Remove from the heat and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing thinly against the grain.

Prepare the Dressing: In a small bowl, whisk together the fish sauce, lime juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, red chilies, garlic, and ginger. Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed.

Assemble the Salad: In a large bowl, combine the mixed salad greens, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, mint, cilantro, and basil.

Add Beef and Dressing: Arrange the sliced beef on top of the salad. Drizzle with the dressing and toss gently to combine.

Serve: Serve the Thai Beef Salad immediately, garnished with extra herbs or a squeeze of lime if desired.
