About me
Let me delve into why I excel as a personal trainer, particularly in the realms of powerlifting, muscle growth, and strength training. I have been in the weight training game since 1994 and have had many years of competitive bodybuilding, strength training and helping others achieve their training goals.

I'm a Canberra PT who loves providing face to face training and helping men reach there goals as quickly and safely as possible.

Powerlifting Expertise:
I have a deep understanding of powerlifting techniques that sets me apart from the rest. I focus on the “big three” lifts: squat, bench press, and deadlift. My coaching emphasises proper form, progressive overload, and periodisation.

I tailor my powerlifting programs to individual goals—whether it’s competing or simply getting stronger. My attention to detail ensures safe and effective training.

Muscle Growth Mastery:
I know that muscle growth (hypertrophy) requires specific strategies. I design workouts that target major muscle groups, incorporating compound movements like squats, deadlifts, and bench presses.

My knowledge of volume, intensity, and rest periods optimises muscle stimulation. I also emphasise nutrition, ensuring clients get the right nutrients for muscle repair and growth.

Strength Training Savvy:
My strength training programs focus on building functional strength. I combine heavy lifting with accessory exercises to enhance overall performance.

My periodised approach—alternating between strength, hypertrophy, and endurance phases—ensures balanced progress. I also emphasise recovery and mobility work.
